"There are no facts, only interpretations." ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
👉👉👉 One day while practicing in the yoga studio I caught a glimpse of my face. In that moment I looked different than I had seen myself in sometime. My cheekbones more defined, the lines in my face appeared different, and after seeing this difference, I noticed my mind was stirred and it changed my mood.
This experience made me think about perspective and how easy it was to stir up an emotional and physical response by even a glance. There is no right or wrong, black and white, when it comes to the world, only interpretation. When you practice yoga (not only the poses) your perspective will evolve. It is an internal journey that seeks observance and inquisitiveness.
➡️This week when you find yourself frustrated, resistant, and tense, repeat your mantra as a reminder to breathe.
